Some of the most meaningful improvements in a laboratory happen behind the scenes.
This month, Acutis Diagnostics successfully completed a major upgrade to our Laboratory Information System, an important milestone in strengthening the technology that supports our laboratory operations.
The upgraded system plays an important role across key areas of our laboratory environment, including specimen management, laboratory workflows, result processing, connectivity, reporting, and operational visibility. By strengthening data integrity, traceability, and standardized workflows, the upgrade further supports Acutis’ healthcare quality and compliance focused laboratory operations.
The successful completion of this initiative required months of planning, testing, validation, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and cross functional collaboration. Our Technology and Laboratory teams worked closely throughout the process to assess potential impacts, validate system functionality, and support a smooth transition.
Our Head of Human Resources, Javon Barnwell, described it as a “herculean effort.” That description reflects the level of dedication and collaboration required to bring this project across the finish line.
